LESSON 101
gagagaga... by the look of the title its pretty obvious about the subject of the post.
well, i must say this is the first non storylike post i have done, but well there is a first time to everything..
enough of the mumble jumble.
16th may 2008
it was approximately around 4 o clock that the orange gen 2 reached it tyres to the compound of Banting Mara College. it was stated as an IB world school (i think, that was the name).
anyhow, the journey was not all smooth as we got lost numerous times. and let it be noted that the nearest road to take is the road thats heading to LCCT, there will be a junction that will head you out of the road and just 10 minutes away from KMB. (for guidance, hit me back later)
i was greeted by Kak Sara and her guy. the two most 'berjasa' tour guide. kudos to them for making KMB seemed so interesting.
the area, i must say was a typical MRSM environment, so for those who have been thinking about corridors with lotsa lecture halls and big buildings, this is the part where ur dreams go draining down the lane. but no worries! it is practically a very nice place to study.
the environment was pretty much silent as the students were busy studying for their upcoming exams.
ok, so here's lesson 102.
dress code: only baju kurung for classes and tutorial, tudung is fine as long as its appropriate. and the sweet finale, kasut has to be an all black and covered. ( big bummer huh? )
* * *
well, moving on, my tour continues with kak sara showing me the counselling room which i paid no attention to at first and turns out to be very ridiculously important as that is where our future plans will be discussed and also our mock interview which seemed to be VERY VERY VERY VERY important.
next door was the MPP room which was a.k.a the BWP's room. the condition was exactly like our BWP room. the mess i mean. hehehehe. just kidding.
a few doors away was the dobi as well as koop which according to kak sara was far worse than our lgk koop, which i find not true but oh well, you be the judge.
well, we then reached the classes.
lesson 103
the classes are like normal classes. with around 20+- students.
the lessons will be like during lgk with the lecturers going in and out, oh and yes, they prefered if wevcalled them teachers. this is also the part where the dreams of going in and out moving from class to class for lessons die. ( hehehehe...) the only time we leave the classroom would be during lab times. fear not, during year 2 we will be equipped with airconditioned classes.
but fret not, our classes are not 9-2. well not exactly. hehehe.
classes start at 8 and ends around 12 untill 2. it differs through out the days.
* * *
the PSP was drop dead nice, well it wasnt as grandeur as PSP UTP but still better than what we use to have. with it newly upgraded to two floors.
nearby would be the dataran where the major events would happen and there wifi too.. ( yeay!good news)but there's no wifi in the asrama.. ( duh! )
yes! lesson 104
asrama consist of rooms but with only two people and much much smaller than lgk. ( erm... )there's DS that'll prepare food. breakfast at 6.45, lunch 6.30, and so on. there is a main surau in the middle of the college with smaller suraus in each block of asrama.
p.s // the surau are not wajib. i mean, la.. u know what i mean.
the playing grounds consist of squash courts, basketball (2) tennis (2) futsal(1) takraw(2)badminton(2) and gym and aerobics. and oh, i must also say, there's a jamming room. pretty damn cool huh?
LESSON 105
but i must say, dear senior fathul was really helpful. he was explaining to me, on how the system would work in the future.
ok, first you would have to choose from ireland, or uk. (no, u cannot take both)
the million dollar question
how to choose?
well, ireland offers around 120 places but u may only choose one place. well as in uk, u may choose a few places but is much more riskier with 70 places and very hard tests to go through and very expensive too..
fear not, as if rejected you still have a chance for aussie or lastly czech republic.
our sem 2 exams are really crucially important but as a medic student all seems to be important so dont screw it up. there is a minimum of 34/36 (tak ingat) out of 45 is required for you to fly but the most maximum is better am i correct?
well, hopefully i really did help you out. and any questions please leave a comment.
sincerely,
fats.
oh, ini membantu.. terima kasih.. =p
